Steve joined the team at e-cast in May 2007, initially looking after the finances of the company on a part-time basis. His role has now grown into overseeing the daily operations and administration of the company.
Steve’s background is in banking, having worked at Countrywide Bank from 1986 to 1995 in various management roles including credit recoveries, credit analysis and branch management. Throughout his time with Countrywide, Steve managed many staff and was responsible for different cost centre budgeting and reporting. For the last four years at Countrywide, Steve was manager of the newly built Ponsonby branch and his day-to-day role was involved with clients’ banking needs – including business banking, mortgages, investments and budgeting. His branch consistently achieved top rankings for growth and profitability.
During this time Steve also qualified as a legal executive.
In 1995 he became a self-employed mortgage broker and has been doing this for the last 13 years. Over the course of this period Steve has built a large and successful business, building longstanding relationships with clients, referrers and other professionals.
